Goals and objectives

The “Support and Empowerment of Ukrainian Children and Their Families in Georgia” project funded by Aktion Duetschland Hilft aims to provide live saving assistance, protection services and access to education to vulnerable Ukranian Refugees and host communities in Georgia. This project will enable vulnerable households to cover their essential needs through interventions such as multi-purpose cash assistance and provision of supplies to prepare for adverse winter conditions.

Key actions

Adults and most vulnerable host community children will be offered mental health and psychosocial well-being supported though existing services including the Happy Space, Centre for Street Connected Children, and daycare centres. Other interventions include cash for protection, Ukrainian children being equipped with education materials and their families supported with livelihood opportunities. The project will also provide capacity support for Ukrainian civil society organisations in Georgia.
