Bijay,7 and Bikram, 5 enjoy looking after the chickens in their new poultry farm. Their father, Pushpa Raj Baral says, ‘Now that I run a fresh meat house I am able to earn more money to give my children good food, clothes and education. My children love to have meat in their meals and I don’t need to spend money buying that.’

The Entrepreneurship training provided to landless people through the Kaski Livelihood Project in Hansapur Village Development Committee, Kaski has created sustainable income generating opportunities for many families.

World Vision has been working with families from farming/non-farming households to improve their livelihoods through trainings in organic farming, animal husbandry and development of vocations and small business initiatives.
