This second annual Global Report on Child Participation in World Vision Decision-Making Processes celebrates the different ways girls and boys across the world have been meaningfully involved in the decisions that World Vision makes to improve child well-being around the world. Field Offices have continued to implement stronger and more innovative ways of listening to children, including them in local and national decision-making spaces to ensure that programming and strategy decisions are informed by children’s experiences, priorities, needs, and perspectives.
This report highlights the extraordinary practices of each region and Field Office, celebrating the ways our staff have shared decision-making power with children. Our presence in Somalia since 1993 has enabled us to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the WASH sector. This includes the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources (MoEWR), a crucial partner, as well as other line ministries at federal, regional and state levels, the private sector, local partners, the Somalia WASH Cluster, UN agencies, and community actors. We have worked collaboratively to expand access to quality water, sanitation and hygiene services.
