Defying all odds to create a ‘Better Future’
Yvonne is an 18-year-old girl who lives in Huye District. She is the first born in a family of four girls. This second annual Global Report on Child Participation in World Vision Decision-Making Processes celebrates the different ways girls and boys across the world have been meaningfully involved in the decisions that World Vision makes to improve child well-being around the world. Field Offices have continued to implement stronger and more innovative ways of listening to children, including them in local and national decision-making spaces to ensure that programming and strategy decisions are informed by children’s experiences, priorities, needs, and perspectives.
This report highlights the extraordinary practices of each region and Field Office, celebrating the ways our staff have shared decision-making power with children.
