In 2023, World Vision Albania was joined again by many partners in its mission to transform lives of 34,455 children and young people. Our partners were citizens who donate, children, families, institutions, faith based and civil society organizations, agencies, businesses, media, experts, networks and more. San and more than 450 children in northern Sierra Leone exercise their power of choice
San, a physically challenged girl, joined over 450 children in Sierra Leone to choose her potential sponsor. World Vision International Sierra Leone organised a special Chosen event in Mongo and Delmayadu. It was not only about sponsorship, but also about "the joy of changing the lives of vulnerable children".

New research to analyize the economic beneift of Official Development Assistance (ODA) programming that directly or indirectly targets children found that every $1USD of child-related ODA directly or indirectly results in a $10USD return and highlights that investing in children is a way to maximise the benefit that donors see from their ODA programmes.

How Facilitating Engagements With Adolescent Girls and Young Women Positively Impacted Bongimpilo's Own Life
Bongimpilo, of Mantambe Area Programme, has been part of the “Halting The Spread Of HIV Amongst The Swazi Society” Project, which aims to transform the lives of young girls and women in underprivileged communities, since 2022. As Bongimpilo continued to work on the project, she found solace in knowing that she wasn't alone in her journey. She connected with other team members who shared similar experiences, forming a support network that helped her navigate her own challenges. Together, they shared stories, offered encouragement, and provided a safe space for vulnerability.
