World Vision breaks the cycle of absenteeism with a gift donation of 100 bicycles
In Sekyere East District, in a remote village located in the Ashanti region of Ghana, 100 school-going students have received a life-changing gift of mobility. The Bicycle Education Empowerment Program (BEEP) is World Vision's global response to the most vulnerable children who face the challenge of access to an education, intergenerational poverty and also a means to reduce travel time in order to improve on educational outcomes.

Four in Ten (37%) Parents Globally say their Children Don’t Get Proper Nutrients Daily; 21% Say their Children Have Gone to Bed Hungry in the Last Month
A new global Ipsos study conducted on behalf of World Vision International in 16 countries reveals almost four in ten (37%) of parents/guardians say their children are not getting the proper nutrients they need on a daily basis, and 21% say their children have gone to bed hungry in the last 30 days. 2023 Global Report on Child Participation in World Vision Decision-Making Processes
This second annual Global Report on Child Participation in World Vision Decision-Making Processes celebrates the different ways girls and boys across the world have been meaningfully involved in the decisions that World Vision makes to improve child well-being around the world. Field Offices have continued to implement stronger and more innovative ways of listening to children, including them in local and national decision-making spaces to ensure that programming and strategy decisions are informed by children’s experiences, priorities, needs, and perspectives.
This report highlights the extraordinary practices of each region and Field Office, celebrating the ways our staff have shared decision-making power with children. World Vision continues to press in our belief that children’s participation is not only a right, but an essential element of our child-focused agenda.
