Why are our partnerships central to everything we do? 

No organisation or government working alone can solve child vulnerability. World Vision believes that only by working together with children, their communities, and our partners, can the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children be transformed.  Our partners include governments, civil society organisations, churches and other faith communities, businesses, and academia as well as our donors and supporters. Working together locally, nationally, regionally and globally across all contexts, including humanitarian and development. 

Partnerships thrive on trust. We commit to mutual accountability and proactive risk management. In our partnerships, we always seek shared value, respecting and valuing others’ contributions, considering and managing power dynamics appropriately, and communicating openly and responsively. 

We seek to always find the right role, as such as connector, convenor, advocate, technical contributor, supporter and capacity‑sharer.  We monitor our partnering practice to ensure it is fully aligned to our global commitments including:
