Through its innovative approach, the Baby-Friendly Health Facilities Initiative (BFHI), World Vision is driving significant improvements in healthcare delivery to over 18 districts across the country, and Bugiri District being part of this quality improvement approach.

World Vision is concerned by reports of dozens of missing children following the surge in attacks in northern Mozambique
World Vision is calling for all to be done to ensure the safe return to their families of at least 70 children reported missing, following a new wave of armed attacks in the province of Cabo Delgado, in northern Mozambique. Authorities have confirmed that parents and caregivers have lost contact with the children whose whereabouts are unknown to them, after being forced to flee their homes.

The child-focused aid agency said the 3-year campaign investment will improve the nutritional status of children living in the most vulnerable communities across 27 countries on the continent, through promotion of nutritional interventions to reduce hunger among the most affected populations.
