World Vision Zambia Livelihood project THRIVE 2.0 to impact over 760,000 people
World Vision Zambia is working to break the cycle of poverty by 2030 so that the most vulnerable children can reach their full potential in all areas of our programming. Using the Transforming Household Resilience in Vulnerable Households (THRIVE), the organisation is graduating the most vulnerable families out of extreme poverty so that very poor families become economically self-reliant and have the dignity and means to provide for their children.

World Vision Kenya Launches National Flood Response
Amidst the devastating floods in Kenya, Mathare North Primary School shelters 200 families, grappling with despair. As of April 29th, the Government of Kenya reports indicate that approximately 150,365 people have been displaced by the ongoing rains, with 169 deaths recorded as floods swept through almost half of Kenya.
World Vision is responding with urgent aid, delivering cash transfers having launched a national flood relief effort to reach over 84,000 affected individuals.

Cet article montre l'appui que World Vision apporte aux femmes enceintes et atteintes du VIH. Cette catégorie des personnes est oubliée mais enregistre des morts et 50% d'enfants séropositifs meurent avant l'age de 2 ans. Son appui vise à réduire le nombre des décès des enfants qui naissent des parents vivant avec le VIH en fournissant un soutien nutritionnel aux parents.
