This article shows how World Vision succeeds in setting up projects that benefit both professional women in the beneficiary communities and women who are its own agents. Breastfeeding is one of the key elements on which many projects base their awareness-raising. Many projects encourage and promote breastfeeding in the workplace. This is done to ensure the well-being of the child and the breastfeeding woman who works.
