DR Congo: After years without water, World Vision intervenes to give water to the inhabitants of Ishasha
This article shows the start of water catchment work to provide the community of Ishasha with drinking water. This initiative is being carried out through the CHR. More than 1,900 residents will have access to drinking water after years without it. The project will have a major impact, as it will save children from water-borne diseases.

San, a physically challenged girl, joined over 450 children in Sierra Leone to choose her potential sponsor. World Vision International Sierra Leone organised a special Chosen event in Mongo and Delmayadu. World Vision launches ENOUGH campaign in Kenya to address child hunger and malnutrition in the country. It can reverse desertification, increase food, water and commodity production, and build resilience to climate extremes. It almost sounds too good to be true, but it is very real. The special ingredients are passing the knowledge to local communities, mobilising the message and transferring the skills in language they can understand, by people they can trust.
