When Bosnia and Herzegovina was hit by the record breaking floods and landslides in May and August 2014, World Vision, in cooperation with UNICEF, opened 19 Child Friendly Spaces to protect children from risk and promote their psychosocial well-being.

World Vision responds to record floods and related damage in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Around 1.5 million people have been affected by heavy rains and floods across Bosnia and Herzegovina as the country faces the worst flooding in history. Hundreds of mudslides also damaged homes and limited access to those affected.
