Partnership Offer to Interested Organizations

Description: World Vision Armenia intents to implement a project aiming to develop children and youth’s (aged 12-18) Debating and Human Rights knowledge and skills. 

Objective: During 2017-18 educational year, it is expected that Debate Clubs will be established in at least 39 schools across the country (particularly in the marzes of Lori, Shirak, Tavoush, Gegharkunik, Aragatsotn, Yerevan, Syunik) and educational camps on the topic of Human Rights will be organized during the summer months for the children of the same locations. The project is expected to be implemented in future as well.     

The particular actions of the project include:  

-Recruitment and training of Debate Club facilitators, provision of support during trainings with children, and monitoring and coaching. 

-Support in recruitment of interested children into the clubs. 

-Organization of inter school, inter-matz and national championships 

-Organization of summer schools/ camps.  

WVA seeks for the partnership opportunity, where the partner will bring in professional expertise in organization of Debating and Human Rights topics, prior experience and sustainability to this initiative. It is also expected that the partner will co-fund and co-implement the project together with WVA.  Collaboration with more than one partner is also possible. 

Organizations interested in collaborating with World Vision Armenia are suggested to submit Partnership Project Proposals. The deadline for submission of partnership proposals is August 10, 2017. Prior meeting may be organized with interested organization to further describe and discuss partnership frameworks.
