LACTANCIA MATERNA PARA SALVAR VIDAS
El programa VenEsperanza, liderado por World Vision Colombia con el apoyo de USAID, establece espacios de lactancia en áreas vulnerables como Suesca, Colombia. Estos espacios educan y asisten a madres embarazadas y lactantes, enfatizando la importancia de la lactancia para el desarrollo temprano de los bebés. También brindan ayuda a poblaciones vulnerables, incluyendo refugiados y migrantes, que carecen de acceso a servicios de salud. Promover la lactancia óptima en niñas y niños menores de dos años puede salvar vidas y prevenir muertes infantiles y maternas en países en desarrollo.
