Manifeste des filles africaines à la Women Deliver Conference pour l’autonomisation des filles et l’élimination de la violence à l'égard des enfants
Ce document est um manifeste des filles venues du Mozambique, du Rwanda, de l’Ouganda, de la RDC et du Niger representant les enfants de toute l'Afrique à la conférence Women deliver 2023 qui se tient à Kigali du 17 au 20 Juillet 2023. Appuyées par World Vision, elles ont été honorées de faire entendre leurs voix avant, pendant et après la conférence "Women Deliver 2023", le plus grand rassemblement mondial visant à faire progresser l'égalité entre les hommes et les femmes. A travers ce manifeste, elles ont d’abord émis leur joie de voir que des dirigeants des gouvernements, de la société civile, d'agences des Nations unies, des donateurs et d'organisations religieuses soient présents à Kigali pour les écouter et catalyser un mouvement mondial dans la façon dont le monde traite les enfants. Ensemble, une union est créée pour autonomiser les filles et mettre fin à la violence à l'encontre des enfants.
A travers ce document, les filles actrices de changement, veulent une action collective et demander des comptes aux dirigeants. Elles demandent qu'il soit mis fin à la violence à l'encontre des filles, y compris aux pratiques néfastes (mariage d'enfants et mutilations génitales féminines), à l'exploitation du travail des enfants, à la violence sexuelle et à l'association d'enfants à des groupes et forces armés.
