DR Congo: World Vision responds to the growing needs of IDPs exacerbated by the humanitarian crisis in Eastern
This video is a compilation of testimonies from internally displaced people in the Kashaka camp in eastern DRC. These internally displaced people (IDPs) talk about their lives since they left their villages to flee the war, the difficulties they have encountered and how they are facing new difficulties in the camps where they live. Life has become very difficult and humanitarian aid is unable to meet their needs, which have increased as a result of the escalating violence. World Vision continues to respond with the support of partners, but at the same time is calling for more resources.

A Relentless Struggle in Southern Angola: The South West Angola Emergency Response Project relief amid food insecurity
Carolina is a mother, one of many who, in the context of the emergency, has been working to get around the challenging situation she finds herself in. Aged 42 and with her five children, she lives in the community of Bata-Bata, Humpata municipality in Huíla. In the short rainy season that is recorded in the south, Carolina works on her small plot, and in the dry season, which is most of the seasonal period, she does informal jobs to make ends meet for her children. The short rainy season is not enough for planting to be prosperous, and with the economic crisis worsening in the country, families are seeing episodes of food shortages become increasingly dramatic.

Spotlight on Ukraine's Children and Youth: Experiences and Perceptions
This report on Ukrainian children's and youth's experiences and perceptions presents an analysis of focus group discussions (FGDs) conducted over the course of December 2023 and January 2024 with children affected by the conflict in Ukraine, including those displaced within Ukraine as well as those in Romania, Moldova, and Georgia. The primary objective is to understand children’s perceptions of their well-being, new environments, educational setups, and coping strategies in the context of displacement and conflict.
