Global WASH Director

Parvin brings over 25 years of global leadership in humanitarian and development programming with deep expertise and experience in WASH, strategic operations and programme management working at country (Kenya, Bangladesh, Iran and Zimbabwe) regional and global levels. Parvin has worked with a range of international agencies including CARE, UNHCR and Oxfam where she was Regional Director for East and Southern Africa.  Parvin is no stranger to World Vision – having worked with us in Kenya, Sudan and Bangladesh in the 2000s, but re-joins us now from Right to Play, where she has served as Vice President for Country Offices.   

Parvin holds an MSc in Water and Environmental Management from Loughborough University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Water & Environmental Management.  

Parvin is a Kenyan national, resident in the UK. She is married to Jelvas and they have been blessed with two sons: Ike and Aidan and worship at the Fresh Ground Church of the Nazerene in London where she also serves as a Trustee.
