Dr. Pearl John serves as Chair of the World Vision India Board, having joined the Board in 2018. He previously chaired the Board Development and Nominations Committee, where he contributed to strengthening governance systems, leadership succession, and Board effectiveness. In 2025, Pearl joined the World Vision International Board and is a member of the Ministry Strategy Committee.

Pearl holds a Doctorate in Leadership, along with a Postgraduate degree in Industrial Psychology specialising in Organisational Behaviour. He is the Executive Director of People Compass Consulting and a leadership coach, working closely with CEOs, Managing Directors, and senior executives to enhance leadership effectiveness and drive organisational transformation.

Previously, Pearl served as Consulting Director for a global consulting organisation, leading large-scale culture and leadership development initiatives. His consulting portfolio spans multinational corporations, the United Nations system, Big 5 professional services firms, and mission-driven organisations across regions.

With more than two decades of experience at the intersection of organisational psychology, leadership research, and faith-informed service, Pearl brings deep expertise and a holistic perspective to his governance responsibilities. He is married and has one daughter, and is actively involved in his church community in Panchgani, India.
