Eleanor Monbiot
Eleanor Monbiot is the Regional Leader at World Vision Middle East and Eastern Europe, covering Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine, Georgia, Iraq, West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon, Romania, Syria, and Türkiye, with more than 2,200 staff.
Previously, Eleanor was Global Director of Field Operations covering World Vision International’s Programming and Operations across 73 countries. She has worked in the Humanitarian and Development field for over 30 years.
Eleanor was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2005, an honour bestowed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of her humanitarian services.
She holds a master's degree in rural development from Imperial Collage London, in addition to certificates from MIT and the University of California, Berkeley in Operational Excellence and Leading Innovations.
