Danesi lives in a community where it is all-too-common for young girls to get pregnant and drop out of school. But, Danesi is not one of them. Through World Vision's Child Sponsorship programme she learned about her rights and how to create a plan for her future. Today, she is not only working towards a positive future for herself, she is also helping other children follow her example.

A 6-year-old girl, Amber, faced unimaginable hardships as her family fled Venezuela due to a food crisis. They endured five years of uncertainty in Colombia but decided to brave the dangerous Darien jungle in 2023 to find a better life. Amber celebrated her 6th birthday in the jungle, receiving a cake and a doll. They continued their journey through Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and now Honduras, with Amber serving as their motivation. With the help of organizations like World Vision, they dream of finding a safe and hopeful place to call home. Amber's resilience shines through.
