Hard Lessons
World Vision(WV) and Action for Humanity (AFH)’s “Hard Lessons” study today looks into Syrian children with disabilities’ exposure to protection risks in Lebanon and Northwest Syria. In the midst of deteriorating socio-economic contexts and growing barriers to inclusive education, displaced and refugee Syrian girls and boys with disabilities were found to be more exposed to protections risks such as child labour and early marriage.

World Vision's COVID-19 response reaching 144,000 people in Gaza, Mozambique
More than 144,000 people have benefited from various interventions aimed at halting the spread of COVID-19 in the southern province of Gaza, in Mozambique. Since the onset of COVID-19, World Vision has been providing humanitarian assistance in Gaza to communities affected by a pandemic that continues to ravage the country and the world. The organisation is carrying out interventions in the education and health sectors, as well as providing Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) support.

Enhancing learning for Ukrainian children in Moldova through innovative non-formal education
The Disasters Emergency Committee-funded project supports Ukrainian children in Moldova who are studying online by providing not just entertainment and extracurricular activities, but also the opportunity to attend face-to-face sessions and get the assistance of qualified teachers.
