Working together for children, six child-focused NGOs have released their joint vision of how the world should look for children after 2015.

The Royal Government of Cambodia has made significant progress in establishing legal foundations and a set of comprehensive policy frameworks to promote education for all in Cambodia.

To commemorate the anniversary of the Convention (adopted on 20 November 1989) World Vision is launching a new report Writing for Rights: Letters from the World’s Children.

This Annual Report provides the impact of WV Afghanistan between October 2021 and September 2022.  During this period:  •    1,369,562 people, including 669,694 children, were reached; •    Over 90% decrease in the number of food insecure families adopting negative coping strategies, including sending their children to work, in our targeted areas; •    Access to clean drinking water increased from 24.5% to 59% for targeted households; •    More than 80% of children with acute malnutrition in our targeted areas became well-nourished; •    Girls' registration in Community-Based Education (CBE) classes increased from 5,833 to over 11,162; and •    13 child early forced marriage cases were resolved by the trained faith leaders.

World Vision is a humanitarian and development non-governmental organisation that serves in more than 100 countries around the world to support the wellbeing of millions of children and their families.

In July 2017, World Vision lead a context analysis (GECARR) and consulted 267 people across Northern Uganda (In Bidibidi, Imvepi and Rhino settlements). Data collection was done through 12 FGDs with men, women, boys and girls including 130 children from both refugee and host community.

This desk review discusses the problem of rising social tensions between Syrian refugees and urban host communities in Lebanon and Jordan and why the investigation into the causes and consequences of these tensions is integral for humanitarian and development programming in the region.
