Fola Komolafe is a pioneering humanitarian, social entrepreneur, and strategic leader inspired by her Christian faith to serve children to ensure they can experience the fullness of life.  Since October 2023, Fola has been the CEO of World Vision UK - the UK office of the world’s largest international children’s charity, working across 100 countries to tackle the root causes of poverty for children, and to provide humanitarian response to conflict, and climate-related disasters. 

Fola’s professional career spans senior roles at HSBC, IBM, and Mazars, where she led global development initiatives. She later directed £multi-million projects across Africa and South Asia for the Open University, was Vice President of the British Red Cross, and has co-founded several charities in the UK focused on youth empowerment, such as Fresh Youth MK. Fola is a Trustee of the Milton Keynes Food Bank and has served as a Deputy Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire since 2015. In 2017 Fola was bestowed an MBE for her services to business and community, and in 2024 won Black Female Pioneer of the Year at the Milton Keynes Excellence Awards.

Fola was born in the UK and spent much of her early childhood in Nigeria, where she witnessed the true side of poverty, which underpins much of her motivation in creating equality of opportunity for all children.
