Strengthening community resilience through soilless agriculture, World Vision, in collaboration with the World Food Programme, is leading an innovative project in Burkina Faso.

This annual report provides an overview of our work in Burkina Faso during FY23, which covers the period from October 2023 to September 2024.

Yao, a dedicated farmer from Ouroubonon, overcame challenges with support from the "Developing Resilience and Reducing Malnutrition in Burkina Faso" project of World Vision, which provided vital resources and seedling training.

Assèta and many others had to flee due to Burkina Faso's security crisis, facing tough conditions. Through the "YES KIRE" and "Youth Ready" projects, she received sewing training, regaining hope and confidence.

Restrictions on movements have seriously affecting access to emergency health care services. To support communities, World Vision is supporting 20 health centers with material and training so they can provide emergency health cares to communities at the village level. In the village of El Karmel, this project is bringing hope among mothers and children.

This report aims to highlight three crucial initiatives by World Vision Angola to contribute to addressing these food and health emergencies in the country. The SAVE project aids 22,000 vulnerable people by addressing protection, health, malnutrition, and food security, tackling the severe impacts of the security crisis.
