Dr Joann Chen (Taiwan) joined the WV Taiwan board in 2019. She joined the World Vision International Board in 2025, where she serves as the Vice Chair of the Stewardship Committee. She has served as the Chair of the Resources Development Committee, the Chair of the Digital Transformation Committee, and as a member of the Executive Committee. 

She holds an MBA in marketing and finance, as well as a degree in Management Information Systems. Joann is currently an Entrepreneurial mentor at the Tidah Entrepreneurship Centre at Taiwan National University. She is also a digital transformation consultant at J. Know Consulting. She is married with a son and worships at the Taipei Truth Lutheran Church.
