Philip Ahabwe is an experienced finance leader with a strong commitment to stewardship, integrity, and service. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at ICEA LION Life Assurance Company (Uganda) Limited, where he provides strategic financial leadership and supports sustainable business growth. 

With a professional background that includes service at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Uganda, Philip has gained broad experience in audit, financial management, and governance across diverse sectors, including financial institutions, non-profits, and public entities.

Philip is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-U) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Kyambogo University, and currently pursuing an MBA. 

He brings valuable governance experience through his service on boards and committees, including Abide Family Centre and the Uganda Insurers Association, and previously as Honorary Treasurer at All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala. His leadership reflects a passion for accountability, ethical stewardship, and strengthening institutions to better serve communities.

Philip is guided by strong Christian values and is deeply committed to family life. He is married and actively contributes to faith-based and community initiatives.
