Mr. Peter Trent (Australia) joined the WV Australian board in 2020 and is currently serving as Chair. He joined the World Vision International Board in 2022, where he serves as the Chair of the Ministry Strategy Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. Peter is a lawyer by background and has held senior international roles in commercial and investment banking, corporate advisory and the infrastructure sector for over 36 years.  He was an Executive Director with Macquarie Group and chief executive officer of ASX listed Macquarie’s Atlas Roads division, a position he held between 2009 - 2018. He is currently a director of the Investible Funds management group, an Australian early-stage venture capital provider. 

He is married to Effie, and they attend and serve at Church Hill Anglican in Sydney. They have three adult daughters.
