Ms Margie Apa (New Zealand) has been a member of the WV New Zealand Board since 2011 (Chair 2019 - 2024). She joined the World Vision International Board in 2019, and is a member of the People Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Studies, Labour Relations from the University of Auckland and an Executive Master of Public Administration from Victoria University, Wellington. She has more than 20 years of executive experience in health system leadership in New Zealand, including Chief Executive Officer of Counties Manukau District Health Board (2018-2022) and Health New Zealand (2022-2025). 

She serves as an elder and General Treasurer of the Otara Pacific Islands Presbyterian Church in Auckland, New Zealand. Margie is married to Riki Apa, and they have two adult children
