Mr. Daniel Ramírez (Colombia) joined the WV Colombia board in 2021. In 2025, he joined the World Vision International Board and is a member of the Partnership Governance Committee. He holds a BSc in Economics from Universidad del Rosario, a master’s degree in Finance, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from Universidad de los Andes. Currently, Daniel is pursuing a master’s degree in Christian ministry at the McAfee School of Theology, Mercer University.

Daniel has over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership positions across General Management, Sales, Finance & Planning, Marketing, Strategy, and Partnerships in local and regional roles. Daniel was part of IBM Latin America's executive team for over 25 years, and after he was the Managing Director for the Colombia office at Think Thanks, a consulting firm specialising in business transformation, digital marketing, and sustainability with presence in Latin America and Europe

Daniel is married to Luz Amanda and has two daughters who live in the US. Daniel and his wife attend the Christian Fellowship Church in Bogotá, where they serve in different ministries.

Daniel serves as Vice Chair of the Advisory Board of WV Colombia. He chairs the Sustainability & Communications Committee and is a member of the Faith & Christian Identity Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Haggai International Christian Ministry, Colombia’s Chapter, and is a Reserve Officer of the National Navy of Colombia.
