To support communities, World Vision has continued its emergency response in April and May 2025, reaching 92,000 people including 60,000 children in 7 governorates. The Unseen Crisis: Childhoods shaped by conflict and poverty in the West Bank
Communities in the West Bank are enduring a deepening crisis. Daily life has become increasingly difficult due to a sharp rise in violence, severe restrictions on movement, and the
sudden loss of access to work. In response to the worsening situation, World Vision undertook a broad listening exercise to better understand how families in the West Bank are coping and what support they need most. By engaging with parents, children, community leaders, and volunteers across a wide area, we aimed to capture the real-life impact of the crisis on people’s everyday lives.

West Bank families face alarming hunger and poverty crisis, new report warns
Families across the West Bank are facing an unprecedented crisis marked by hunger, poverty, and fear, according to a new report released today by World Vision. The Unseen Crisis highlights the worsening situation for children, revealing an almost tenfold increase in the number of families reporting that a member had gone a full day without eating since 2022. Three out of four households surveyed are now unable to cover their most essential needs, and half of the children are regularly skipping meals.
