In Phnom Penh on May 22, 2025, a coalition of organizations, including Care International and UNICEF Cambodia, is hosting a workshop for journalists to promote ethical and child-sensitive reporting. This initiative aims to enhance understanding of safeguarding principles, ensuring media professionals are equipped to protect the rights and dignity of children and vulnerable communities in their stories. By prioritizing the best interests of children, the workshop seeks to foster a responsible media environment in Cambodia, encouraging reporting that contributes to meaningful social change.

Menstruation period was a menace for girls like the 16-year-old Cynthia, who relieves the ordeal of missing school every single week of the month. Cynthia, a grade eight at Chipapa Primary School, explains that girls who reach the menstrual age like her face the challenge of finding sanitary pads adding that in most cases they would just avoid school and stay home until menstruation is over.

The study will be cross-sectional, collecting and analyzing data from key beneficiaries (students, teachers, smallholder farmers, healthcare professionals, etc.) at a specific point in time.

In a major boost to healthcare and education services in Western Province, World Vision Zambia, through its Agriculture, Nutrition, Education and Water (ANEW) Project, has officially handed over newly constructed infrastructure to the Nkeyema District community.
