Until there is ENOUGH for all children
A life of fullness for every child is possible. For millions, however, daily life is shaped by hunger, a persistent reality where meals are skipped, portions are reduced, and families face painful decisions about who eats and who goes without. These experiences shape how children grow, learn and live their childhood.
The scale of the crisis is stark. In 2024, an estimated 673 million people faced hunger, and around 2.3 billion experienced food insecurity. Children are among those most affected, yet their experiences too often remain unseen and undercounted.
In 2023, World Vision launched the ENOUGH Campaign, a global movement to end child hunger and malnutrition. Grounded in the belief that every child is made with dignity and potential, the campaign seeks to address the root causes of hunger, from inequality and conflict to the growing impacts of climate change that continue to push families to the brink.
In 2025 alone:
Our vision is for a world where every child has enough nourishing food to thrive where children are seen, heard and prioritised, and where systems work to protect their wellbeing and rights.
We see a world where:
Children’s voices shape decisions: Children’s experiences are visible and influence action at all levels.
Collective action drives change: Governments, partners and communities prioritise and invest in ending child hunger.
Food systems work for children: Families can access nutritious, sustainable and locally produced food.
Girls are safe and stay in school: Fewer girls face early marriage or pregnancy due to hunger and poverty.
Families are empowered to nourish their children: Improved knowledge, behaviours and policies support healthier diets.
Systems deliver for the most vulnerable: Policies, investments and services lead to real gains in child nutrition.
