Zambia's Local Funders

World Vision Zambia has partnered with companies in Zambia who desire to see that all Zambian children have a bright future. Through their Corporate Social Responsibility funds these Organisations have contributed greatly to Zambia.

The following are local companies working with World Vision Zambia:-

Finance Bank Zambia

Drilling of 21 boreholes in World Vision Zambia area programmes and contributing to the impact under water, sanitation and hygiene.

Five Hotels

The GBVSS project through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) is raising resources for HIV and AIDS prevention, care and treatment for gender based violence survivors and enhancing general livelihood through partnerships with the Five (5) hotels:

Taj Pamodzi Hotel, Hotel Intercontinental, Mika Group of Hotels, Twangale Park and Radisson Blu.

Toyota Zambia

Toyota has provided funds to rehabilitate at the Ndaiwala Primary School in Lundazi district. This provision has improved children’s learning and teaching environment to promote productivity for improved performance.  

Standard Chartered Bank (Zambia) Plc

Standard Chartered Bank has partnered in supporting education through the “High Flyer Girls” in Mazabuka district. The project has seen a school facelift after rehabilitating the existing structure enhancing children’s education and also supporting well-performing but vulnerable girl children with education fees to enable them continue pursuing their dreams.

Zambia Telecommunications Company Limited 

Zambia Telecommunications Company Limited (Zamtel) has provided funding for drilling of 42 boreholes in World Vision Zambia’s operational areas thereby contributing towards the impact of water, sanitation and hygiene.

Davis and Shirtliff Zambia Group

Davis and Shirtliff has partnered in the mechanisation of water systems. The mechanised system uses solar panels that generate power to pump water from a borehole to an overhead tank which uses the force of gravity tap distribution.

Saro Agro

Donated a hammer mill in Chongwe district which has helped to process maize corn into mealie meal.
