Ensuring access to clean water and sanitation for displaced families in CAR
To ensure access to clean water and sanitation for families not only affected by conflict but also increasingly vulnerable during COVID-19, World Vision is installing facilities in an "integrated village" in Pladama Ouaka through funding from Aktion Deutschland Hilft. During a visit to the Central African Republic (CAR) from 27 February to 5 March 2022, our Chief Field Operations Officer and West Africa Regional Leader visited some of the newly installed WASH facilities to witness the impact, and celebrate achievements.

World Vision recently completed a rapid needs assessment of Ukrainian refugees in Constanta, Romania between 26-28 April, 2022. The vast majority of refugees in the city are women, many of whom fled their homes with young children, and most of whom had to leave family behind.

Ukrainian refugees grateful of people’s generosity keeping them hopeful and alive
Olena is one of the 4,700 Ukrainian being assisted by Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS) Project of World Vision Singapore. Families received bedsheet, hygiene kits, clothes for those with babies, pillow, mattress, pillowcases, first aid kit, USB power hub, and power bank.
