Sri Lanka

We've been working alongside the most vulnerable children, families and communities in Sri Lanka since 1977 to overcome poverty and injustice. Currently World Vision is present in 31 locations in 16 districts in Sri Lanka directly serving nearly 100,000 children and their families regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

Working through our long-term development programmes, advocacy and relief responses, we focus on health and nutrition, WASH, economic development and child protection and participation. Interwoven to all our programmes are environment stewardship, gender equity and disability and social inclusion.
