Water Scarcity Threatens Learning and Health at Chitwe Primary School
In Mporokoso district of Northern Province, Chitwe Primary School has become an example of the critical need for access to clean and safe water, especially for children. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of different winterization methods in terms of minimizing cold during the winter season, determining the cost of each technique and comparing the environmental impact.
The results of this study visualize the climate and cost benefits when expanding the utilization of olive pomace, wood, fuel and gas, as a heating source for vulnerable families exposed to cold winters.
