On 25 March 2025, WVI Nepal celebrated and shared our Fiscal Year 2024 achievements in presence of children, government representatives, media, our donors and peer organisations. In addition, we launched two major research reports on 'Online Safety among Children' and 'Knowledge, Attitude and Practices on Substance use among adolescents'.

This research, commissioned by World Vision’s Middle East and Eastern Europe (MEER) regional office in partnership with Qualisus Consulting, aims to assess the broader impact of cash and voucher assistance (CVA) programmes on marginalised groups and young people’s mental health and psychosocial well-being, livelihood-resilience, community and social cohesion, and child well-being.

Yanauo shares how traditional bamboo water collection evolved into using plastic containers as their village lacked a safe water source, causing children to fall sick. World Vision's Markham Wash project introduced toilets and handwashing, leading to improved health. With a new gravity-fed water system, families now enjoy clean, accessible water.

Michael Amos Wicker is the Humanitarian WASH Specialist for World Vision International. Michael has been with WVI for 4.5 years. He found a passion for WASH at the University, having joined Engineers without Borders, and collaborating with a community in Peru.
