Diane Baik

Senior Technical Advisor, Nutrition

Diane is a Senior Technical Advisor with over 15 years of experience in nutrition programme design, management, evaluation, and proposal development across both humanitarian and long-term development contexts. She brings extensive expertise in behaviour change communication, nutrition information systems, implementation research (quantitative and qualitative), advocacy, and multi-sectoral programming.

Diane provides technical leadership and project management support, develops training curricula, and builds the capacity of World Vision and Ministry of Health staff in a range of nutrition interventions. She has led the development of country strategies, rolled out standardised monitoring systems - including digital health solutions for nutrition - and actively engages with external partners. 

She has worked in more than 60 countries, primarily in Africa and Asia. Diane has also worked with the World Bank and the Sprinkles Global Health Initiative. She holds an HBSc (with three majors including Nutritional Science) from the University of Toronto, Canada, an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), UK, and is currently pursuing her PhD with the Faculty of Epidemiology and Population Health at LSHTM.
