In Kassena Nankana West District in Ghana's Upper East Region, the EU-funded landscape restoration initiative is transforming bare and fragile landscapes into green lands and creating new livelihood opportunities for locals to thrive. "Thanks to the EU-LEAN initiatives, we have recovered several hectares of degraded land. We are happy our surroundings are growing greener and more beautiful," said Abdul-Nashiru, lead farmer at the Navio-Samwo community.

A journey towards environmental restoration: U Myint’s story
U Myint, from Kyun Chaung Lay village in Myanmar, has witnessed significant environmental changes over the past decade. Facing severe deforestation and climate change impacts, his community launched a 20-acre Community Forestry area in 2010 with support from World Vision. Restoring childhood: Safe havens for Palestinian children to heal and thrive
World Vision made it a priority to create safe spaces for children and communities across the West Bank. ver the past 10 months, the organisation has implemented mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) interventions in more than a hundred villages, reaching over 28,000 children and adults. Through 26 newly constructed or rehabilitated safe spaces, World Vision has provided crucial psychosocial support to over 6,500 children across the West Bank, helping them navigate the immense challenges they face.
