Capacity Statement: Citizen Voice and Action 2024
Citizen Voice and Action (CVA) is a local advocacy approach that World Vision uses to increase dialogue between ordinary citizens and organizations that provide services to the public. It aims to improve accountability from the administrative and political sections of government (both national and local) in order to improve the delivery and quality of public services. The approach aims to empower communities to realize the potential within to influence the quality, efficiency and accountability of public services.

DR Congo: Marguerite's journey towards resilience
Marguerite is a courageous woman who has learned to be resilient in the face of the many difficulties life has thrown at her. Alone, she brings up her grandchildren and her sick daughter. Thanks to the support of World Vision, her life and that of her family quickly changed when her little daughter Acacia was cured of malnutrition. Today she lives a fulfilling life with her family.

Marguerite est une femme courageuse qui a appris à etre résiliente face aux multitudes difficultés de la vie face auxquelles elle a fait face. Seule, elle élève ses petits-enfants et sa fille qui est malade. Grace à l'appui de World Vision, sa vie et celle de sa famille a vite changé quand sa petite fille Acacia a été guérie de la malnutrition. Aujourd'hui elle vit une vie épanouie avec sa famille.
