Fostering Resilience in Afghanistan Through Multi-Sector Emergency Support
Goals and objectives
The “Fostering Resilience in Afghanistan through Multi-Sector Emergency Support” funded by the USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) aims to respond to multi-sector humanitarian needs and foster resilience among conflict affected and underserved communities in hard-to-reach areas in Afghanistan. World Vision and Catholic Relief Services will continue to partner to help vulnerable, rural communities follow a path of recovery as Afghanistan navigates a historic period of economic depression.
This project will aim to meet urgent needs while increasing resilience to future shocks by taking a holistic approach to address gaps in targeted areas, providing Food, Agriculture, WASH, Health, Nutrition and Protection assistance and services, and coordinating closely to ensure communities receive integrated assistance.
