Dr Jinbaek Kim (Korea) has served on the World Vision Korea Board since 2014 and on the World Vision International Board since 2022, where he serves as Chair of the People Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University. After completing his doctorate, he worked as an assistant professor of Information Systems Engineering at Concordia University, and then in Samsung Electronics’ Semiconductor Business Division. He later served as an associate professor of business at Chung-Ang University. 

He is currently the CEO of Moa Savings Bank, a community-focused savings bank headquartered in Incheon, South Korea. He is married and has a daughter and a son.
