
Natalia Korobkova
Natalia Korobkova is a passionate advocate for the world’s most vulnerable children and currently serves as World Vision International’s Director for Humanitarian Policy & Advocacy. With more than 15 years of experience in humanitarian response, global development, and international law, Natalia leads World Vision’s advocacy and policy efforts in crisis contexts around the world. She represents the organization at the highest levels, including with the United Nations in New York and Geneva, championing child protection and humanitarian access in some of the most complex emergencies of our time.
Natalia brings a unique blend of strategic insight, legal expertise, and on-the-ground humanitarian experience. She has worked at field, regional, and global levels within World Vision, deploying to lead advocacy efforts in major emergencies. She has been instrumental in leading clusters, coordinating with local actors, and ensuring children’s needs and voices are reflected in humanitarian priorities and decision-making spaces.
She has played a leading role in shaping World Vision’s global campaigns, including ENOUGH, It Takes a World to End Violence Against Children and Child Health Now, and has a proven track record in campaign design, public mobilization, and capacity building. She has also contributed to global grants and donor engagement.
Natalia is deeply committed to advancing resilience and well-being for all children - especially those affected by conflict, displacement, and inequality. She is a strong believer in the importance of emotional and spiritual resilience, alternative models of education, and innovative, community-driven solutions that meet children where they are. Her thought leadership includes co-authoring policy papers and publications focused on humanitarian access, local partnerships, and refugee protection, with a particular emphasis on child-centered approaches.
Natalia holds a Master’s in International Law and is a member of the Costa Rica Bar Association. She has conducted research on political reform and civil society development in the post-Soviet space, and continues to advocate for systems that prioritize children’s dignity, inclusion, and voice. She has represented World Vision in key global forums and regularly engages with national governments, multilateral bodies, and faith-based networks.
Above all, Natalia is a mother, a mentor, and a firm believer in the power of compassion, creativity, and courage to change the world for children.
