Kaheru is an international development practitioner with over 24 years of experience in project management and consulting across agriculture, education, youth livelihoods, and human rights. He has coordinated programs across Africa, Europe, and the United States, managing regional portfolios in skills development, school improvement, health, and civil society strengthening in Eastern Africa. 

Kaheru previously led a €1.2 million Dutch-funded advocacy program supporting agri-skills for smallholder farmers in Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia, and managed the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program in Uganda. 

Currently, he works with the Investors’ Protection Unit, overseeing operations that address investor concerns while supporting national development and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
