Dr Susu Thatun (Myanmar) joined the WV Myanmar Advisory Council in 2020. She joined the World Vision International Board in 2025 and is the Vice Chair of the People Committee. 

She has a PhD and a Master’s degree in political economy, as well as an MA and BA in English. Susu has worked as the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator (UN RC/HC) until November 2025, with a total of nearly 25 years with the UN. She worships at the Kyimyindaing church.
