Jacqueline Rioba Nyachieo is a seasoned development professional currently serving as the Director of Programme Development & Grant Acquisition in the East Africa Region. She brings extensive experience in designing high-impact programs, mobilising resources, and building strategic partnerships to advance organisational goals.
In her role, Jacqueline leads the development of innovative, results-driven programmes and spearheads grant acquisition efforts, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and sustainable funding strategies. She has a strong track record in proposal development, donor engagement, and positioning World Vision for competitive funding opportunities. She has cultivated strong partnerships with bilateral, multilateral, private sector, and foundation donors while strengthening organisational visibility and competitiveness in a dynamic funding landscape.
Jacqueline is recognised for her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex ideas into compelling proposals. She works closely with the GAM Directors in the 9 countries in the East Africa Region and the leadership team to drive growth, strengthen institutional capacity, and enhance programme effectiveness.
Jacqueline holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Epidemiology from Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands. She is also a member of the African Nutrition Leaders Program and the Kenya Nutritionist and Dietetics Institute. She is passionate about nurturing the next generation for kingdom impact.
