School journey: Better with a bicycle

People around the world will celebrate International Literacy Day on 8 September, but the first step in fighting illiteracy is making sure children can get to school. To ease access and boost attendance, World Vision is working with the local government to improve roads and school facilities in central Laos’ rural heartland.
