STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS TO ACHIEVE MORE THAN WE CAN IMAGINE

On behalf of World Vision Mozambique, I would like to thank God for keeping each one of us safe and allowing our individual and collective plans to be strengthened as we put in the work to materialize the noble missions to which we have been entrusted.

It is our wish, as an organization, that this year will serve to consolidate the partnerships we have cultivated over the years and together tackle the causes of vulnerability that continue to deprive children, their families and communities of life in its fullness.

Despite the uncertainties that the world seems to increasingly inflict on us through conflicts, climate change, pandemics, among others, the certainty we have that God's plan for every child is good, keeps us firm to continue our journey, confident that our goals are not a utopia.

These challenges are not new to many of us, but the experience we bring, if properly combined, can be an asset to the most vulnerable in the search for solutions. It is under this vision and stance that we propose strengthening our partnerships as we take our first steps this 2024.

This is where I will resort to a popular saying: "Unity makes strength" If we all stay true to this saying, collaborating meaningfully, then it is certain that we will accelerate the materialization of our intentions that are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda and the development plans of the government of Mozambique, and every non-governmental organization committed to well-being.

I sincerely hope that this year will be exceptional to all of us.
