Margaret Kagimba is a seasoned People and Culture leader with over two decades of experience driving strategic human resource initiatives within the humanitarian and development sectors. Currently serving as the Regional Director for People & Culture (East Africa) at World Vision International, she provides strategic leadership in organisational development and talent management across the region. 

Margaret is recognised for her expertise in digitalising HR systems and for championing staff wellbeing through initiatives like “Wellness Wednesday,” which creates the time and space for staff to pause, reflect, and refresh. Throughout her career in complex environments such as Somalia, South Sudan, and Haiti, she has consistently improved staff engagement and ensured that teams
remain motivated to deliver during difficult seasons.
