2025 Child‑Friendly Impact Report
Thursday, March 12, 2026

This FY 2025 Child‑Friendly Impact Report is developed with and for children across World Vision’s nine Field Offices in the East Africa Region. It reflects what progress looks like through children’s eyes—and what matters most to them.

Children are at the heart of everything we do, their voices, dreams, and well-being drive our mission.  We are excited to share that amid the ever-growing humanitarian needs we reached 16.4 Million children in the East Africa Region.

Resilience carried a child’s voice. Through the East Africa Children’s Advisory Group, girls and boys helped shape priorities and propose practical solutions. Many also raised their voices at the African Children’s Summit, where several of their recommendations were captured in the official outcomes—ensuring children’s perspectives remain central to what happens next.

Behind every figure is a story you can picture: a learner able to focus because school meals are available; a mother accessing clean water close to home; a child who knows their rights and where to seek help; a farmer planting for the next season; a young person finding a safe space to learn after displacement.

This Child‑Friendly Impact Report brings these stories and results together, sharing what children told us about their hopes, challenges, and recommendations for the future. We invite you to read, share, and act with us, so that every child in East Africa can grow up safe, healthy, learning, and loved. 🧡
